Another pair of still life paintings featuring glass perfume bottles. The painting on the left was done in Acrylics and the painting on the left was done in watercolour paints.
While painting still life's, I found that I was most interested in painting glass, and how colours/other objects reflect in glass.
Here I studied plants, and drew my subjects with different mediums, such as charcoal and pen.
This was a study I had done of one of Vincent Van Gogh's paintings, apart of The Card Players series. This was done creatively on cardboard in acrylic paints.
Continuing my study of foliage, I went into using watercolour paints to produce realistic renders of plants.
After doing still life, I went into researching portraits. This is a painting of me, decorated in Christmas lights. The lighting effects and intenseness of my pose drew me to painting this.
As one of my on location paintings, I studied another artists artwork of a sign for a theatre.
